Roles & Responsibilities
Chiro-Med is your wellness partner, not your medical provider
As your wellness center, our role is to guide and support you, while all medical decisions stay with the licensed care team.
As your wellness center, our team
- Is not a licensed medical practice
- Does not employ or direct your physician
- Does not determine which medications you receive
- Does not dispense or ship prescription medications
Our role is to help you
- Understand your program options and what to expect
- Stay motivated, accountable, and supported throughout
- Communicate effectively with the medical care team
Any questions about symptoms, dosing, or reactions must be directed to the medical care team, not front desk or wellness coaching staff.

Who provides your care
Your medical team
Your medical care is handled by two independent parties working together, a licensed medical group and a state-licensed compounding pharmacy:
Licensed independent medical group
Physicians and clinical care coordinators who review your intake and make all prescribing decisions.
State-licensed compounding pharmacies (503A)
Responsible for preparing and shipping your medication directly to your door.
How your intake is reviewed
Once submitted, your intake form is securely transmitted to the care team via a HIPAA-compliant medical platform. A licensed physician then reviews your health history and determines whether the requested program is appropriate for you.
The care team will
- Conduct an initial review of your intake details
- Forward all information to the physician for medical evaluation
- Coordinate pharmacy orders if a prescription is issued
- Provide ongoing follow-up and care team support
$20
Physician Review Fee
Charged by the independent medical group to cover the physician's time. Fully refunded if you are not approved or no prescription is written.
How the process works
Seven steps from goal to door
A clear, supported path, from your first conversation to ongoing monitoring and adjustments.
- 1
Choose your wellness program
Discuss your goals with a staff member (fat loss, recovery, energy, longevity) and select your preferred program type. Note: this is a request, physician approval is required.
- 2
Complete your medical intake
Fill out a secure health-history form online, list current medications, supplements, surgeries & allergies, upload recent lab work if available (within 12 months), and sign required telehealth consents.
- 3
Intake routed to the care team
Forms are sent securely for initial screening, then forwarded to the physician for full medical review. The care team may contact you for clarification or additional labs.
- 4
Physician review & decision
The physician evaluates your health history and goals. Possible outcomes: approved, adjusted dose, or not appropriate. No one can guarantee approval prior to physician review.
- 5
Pharmacy prepares & ships medication
If approved, your prescription is routed to a state-licensed compounding pharmacy, prepared specifically for you, and shipped directly to your home address.
- 6
Onboarding & first-time use support
Access to the patient care text line, injection tutorials, written guides, reminders for timing and proper usage, and a direct line for side-effect or usage questions.
- 7
Monitoring, labs & adjustments
The care team may request follow-up labs for longer programs, the physician may adjust your dose based on results, and treatment may be paused if any concerns arise.
Emergency symptoms: call 911 immediately, then notify the care team. No one can guarantee approval prior to physician review.

Tirzepatide
Metabolic & Weight Management
Tirzepatide activates two key metabolic pathways, GIP and GLP-1, which may provide broader support for appetite control, energy balance, and metabolic regulation compared to single-pathway options. Many providers consider it a first-line option when appropriate.
Tirzepatide is commonly associated with:
- Stronger appetite suppression and reduced food cravings
- More efficient metabolism and improved energy regulation
- Better tolerability when dosing is introduced gradually
- Higher average weight-loss outcomes seen in clinical research
- Additional support for individuals who have hit a plateau
Effectiveness is closely tied to your daily habits. Tirzepatide provides a supportive foundation, but consistent nutrition, quality sleep, movement, and stress management drive the best long-term results.
Semaglutide
Metabolic & Weight Management
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist that helps the body send clearer signals of fullness and regulates blood sugar. Over time, it may make structured eating habits easier to maintain and reduce the noise of constant cravings.
Semaglutide is frequently discussed in relation to:
- Reduced cravings and less mindless snacking
- Greater satiety on normal portion sizes
- More stable blood sugar throughout the day
- Support for consistent meal timing and routine
- Weight management, especially when paired with lifestyle habits
Semaglutide does not replace good nutrition or movement, but it can provide meaningful momentum while those habits are being established. It remains an excellent option for budget-conscious patients or those for whom tirzepatide is not a fit.
A gentler approach
Microdosing GLP-1 medications
Some physicians choose a microdosing approach with GLP-1 medications (Tirzepatide or Semaglutide), using intentionally smaller amounts to provide gentle, steady support rather than aggressive weight loss.
What microdosing means in practice
Lower doses of the same medications are used. The goal is milder, sustainable support such as:
- Reduced constant hunger signals
- Easier, more natural food choices
- More even energy levels throughout the day
Steady, sustainable supportWhat microdosing may help with
- Maintaining weight after completing a full-dose program
- Reducing cravings and 'food noise' day-to-day
- Managing energy and appetite during menopause or perimenopause
- Staying on track during high-stress or busy life seasons
Who it may be right for
- Adults near a healthy weight who still battle cravings or gradual regain
- Those who have completed a full-dose program and want maintenance support
- Individuals who prefer a gentler approach due to side effect sensitivity
- Patients committed to lifestyle habits and regular check-ins
Safety & oversight
Microdosing programs are managed with the same level of physician oversight as standard programs. The provider reviews health history, current medications, lab results, and any contraindications before approving. Starting dose and adjustments are determined entirely by the physician.
Microdosing is considered off-label use, meaning it is not part of the original FDA instructions but may be prescribed when a physician believes it is appropriate for a specific patient's needs and history.
Key takeaway: Microdosing may offer gentle, sustainable support, but it must be supervised by the prescribing physician and supported by the care team. Every patient is unique, and safety always comes first.

Balance, recovery, and renewed vitality, naturally supported.
